HOLMES TOWNSHIP -- The body of an 81-year-old Beecher, Wisconsin man has been found in Holmes Township.

According to the Michigan State Police in Stephenson, they responded to a call of a disabled pickup truck stuck in a mud hole, off of State Road, south of G-18.

The body of Norbert W. Brunette was found a short distance away in a wooded area.

Brunette was reported missing and endangered by the Marinette County Sheriff's Department.  His family had reported him missing on April 28 and said that he was possibly suffering from dementia and depression.

His body and truck were found by fishermen Sunday night, around 7 p.m. CDT, and they went to a nearby home to get help.

Assisting the Michigan State Police was the homeowner, the Menominee County Deputy Medical Examiner, Menominee County Sheriff's Department, Marinette County Sheriff's Department, Messaar Funeral Home and Poupore's Towing.

The incident remains under investigation.
