ADAMS TOWNSHIP -- Structural improvements and technology are the main reasons Adams Township voters will be asked to support a bond extension next Tuesday.
If approved, the district will be able to replace outdated computers in both schools and allow for high speed Internet connections and other equipment upgrades.
The money would also cover exterior repairs at Jeffers High School and energy improvements.
The current millage rate of 11.45 will be continued for five years.
"We're extremely deficient in the infrastructure portion of technology, and that's what this bond is about," said Superintendent Tim Keteri. "We also have two leaking roofs at the high school that are in dire need of repair, and these are things that the general fund can't pay right now."
Residents can vote at the South Range Elementary School from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m.
