More than 10,000 plastic eggs will be hidden

NORWAY (AP) -- The 17th annual Community Easter Egg Hunt in Norway is ready to go, rain or shine.  Around 10,000 plastic colored eggs are to be hidden at Marion Park in the Upper Peninsula community on Saturday.

Colored tape is to be used to divide the hunt area into four age groups.  Organizers tell The Daily News of Iron Mountain there will be candy in every egg and candy and tickets for prizes in some of the eggs.

The egg hunt began in the mid-1990s and was started by two local mothers.
