ESCANABA -- Escanaba Public Safety is still working an investigation of a body found inside a burning car a week and a half ago.  The body of 26-year-old Adam Campbell of Escanaba was found inside the car.

Police say the fire is suspicious.  The fire was reported in the east alley of the 300 block of South 19th Street.

An autopsy was performed at OSF St. Francis Hospital.

The cause of death is still unknown at this time.

"Well, we're just going to continue to chase down leads that we may get over time," said Captain James Segorski of Escanaba Public Safety.  "The big thing for us is that we're just waiting for the results to come back on the different physical evidence that we've collected."

Officials encourage anyone with information about the incident to contact Escanaba Public Safety.
