ISHPEMING -- With Easter coming next weekend, one thinks of eggs, chocolate candy, and the Easter Bunny.
Well, he was spotted in Ishpeming Saturday at the Country Village, where over 60 kids took photos and ate candy with Peter Cottontail himself.
"Some are afraid to see the Easter Bunny, but for the most part, the kids are really excited. They run up there and sit on his lap and get a candy from the Easter Bunny and get their picture taken," said Stacy Van Buren of the Country Village.
Other Easter activities included breakfast at the Country Grill, storytime at the bookstore and coffee house, and a coloring contest for the kids.
The Country Village says this is their way of giving back to a community that has shown them so much support over the years.
