Stabbing suspect returns to court

MANISTIQUE -- The Manistique man charged with stabbing his brother to death was back in District Court today for his preliminary hearing.

Twenty-one year old Nicholas Andrew Smith was arrested March 10.

He faces open murder charges in the death of Michael Peter Clement Smith.

Nicholas Smith will be bound over to Circuit Court.

His arraignment is scheduled for May 5 at 9:00 am.
