WAKEFIELD -- A Wakefield teen has been arraigned on a felony drug charge.

According to the Gogebic County Sheriff's Department, 17-year-old Jolman Shanty was arraigned in district court on a felony charge of possession with intent to deliver narcotics.

The date of his preliminary hearing has not been set yet.

Shanty was arrested Friday after an investigation by the GIANT Drug Enforcement Team.  They received a tip from a Wakefield resident about possible drug activity.
