MARQUETTE -- The residents at Snowberry Heights were hoping to get a little taste of the luck of the Irish at their corned beef and cabbage feast Thursday afternoon.

About 25 residents gathered in the dining hall, sporting their St. Patty's Day green for the traditional Irish meal.  The event is the perfect opportunity for residents to get together and celebrate the day.

While most of the residents we spoke with are not Irish, they said that won't stop them from celebrating.

"I'm not Irish either, I'm Polish, but like our priest said years ago, 'On St. Patty's Day, everyone is Irish,' so we all dress in green," said resident diner, Anna Richmond.

The bargain $10 meal also included coffee and green desserts.
