Suspect arrested for domestic assault

IRON MOUNTAIN -- A 20-year-old Kingsford man, suspected of domestic assault, has been taken into custody after a short chase by the police in Iron Mountain.

Police responded to a domestic assault complaint on the 400 block of Vulcan Street at 11:37 a.m. CDT on Wednesday.

The suspect had left the scene but returned in his pickup truck while officers were investigating.

He was arrested in his vehicle after a brief chase.

The suspect's name has not been released pending his arraignment.
