Woman in court charged with embezzling from Marquette business

MARQUETTE -- A 52-year-old Negaunee woman has been charged with embezzling money from a Marquette business.

Annette Cox allegedly embezzled funds from Anthony Automotive in Marquette from October 2007 to December 2010.

She faces up to five years in prison and $10,000 in fines or three times the amount embezzled.

She is charged with embezzling somewhere between $1,000 and $25,000.

Her preliminary examination is set for March 28.
