NEGAUNEE TOWNSHIP -- Three were sent to Marquette General Hospital Tuesday morning following two personal injury crashes on County Road 480.

Frank Richards of Ishpeming lost control of his vehicle on the icy road, and slid and hit a Chevy Tahoe driven by Walter Tuccini of Harvey.

Just after that crash, Shawn Beauchamp of Gwinn was slowing his van as he approached the crash scene, and was struck by Tamara Vanlandschoot who was unable to stop on the icy road.

Richards, Beauchamp, and Vanlandschoot were transported to Marquette General for unknown injuries.

Black ice is believed to have contributed to the incidents.
