U.P. JROTC program wins a trip to D.C.

CALUMET -- A U.P. high school JROTC group took top honors at the recent Leadership and Academic Bowl competition.

Calumet High School JROTC took first place of 120 schools in Third Brigade, earning them an all-expenses paid trip to the national competition in Washington, D.C. this summer.

The competition consists of two rounds of online testing.

Third Brigade competitors encompass a nine state area, plus the U.P.
