Think you can brave the cold U.P. temperatures in a swimsuit?

NEGAUNEE -- Adventurous Upper Peninsula residents will plunge into Teal Lake in Negaunee on March 5 to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics Michigan at the 2011 Law Enforcement Torch Run Polar Plunge.

Anyone can take part in the plunge for a minimum donation of $50.

Individuals who don't want to plunge can also collect donations to receive incentive prizes that bear the "Too Chicken to Plunge" logo and to attend the post-plunge party.
