Property damage hit-and-run under investigation

MARQUETTE -- The Marquette City Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident.

It happened Monday afternoon, between 1:30 p.m. and 2 p.m., at the corner of Fair Avenue and High Street.

Police say that a blue-colored passenger car hit a cyclone fence and then drove away without reporting the accident.

The fencing sustained significant damage.  However, from their assessment of the scene, the vehicle may not show much damage from the collision.
