Minnesota's House Civil Law Committee approved the "Cheeseburger Bill" earlier this week, which gives the food industry immunity from lawsuits from people who consume too much unhealthy food and gain weight, according to the Associated Press.

The bill was formerly known as the "Personal Responsibility in Food Consumption Act."  This bill has come up several times in Minnesota, sponsored by Rep. Dean Urdahl.

Question of the Day:  Do you think the food industry should be immune to lawsuits regarding food consumption?

Vote in the poll below and comment.  Some comments will be shown on the TV6 Early News at 6 p.m. EST.
