MARQUETTE -- According to Pat Torreano of the UP Sled Dog Association, there are going to be some changes to the UP 200 route.

Details are still being worked out, however, the trail will be rerouted in Deerton to use the Deerton snowmobile trail.

There will also be changes in Chatham to eliminate the Slapneck Creek Crossing.

They will also have a road crossing on M-94 to stay off of the AuTrain Basin.

Further changes will be posted as they are released.
