ISHPEMING -- A 4th of July tradition will be returning later this year.

A community picnic will, once again, be held during the Ishpeming 4th of July celebration.

The picnic was cancelled last year because of reduced donations and fewer volunteers.  They've gained more volunteers this year, but are still hoping more people will help out.

This year's theme is honoring our Pearl Harbor and World War II era veterans.

The picnic will be at Al Quaal Recreation Area after the parade.
