Man arraigned on arson charges

ESCANABA -- An Escanaba man is facing arson charges in Delta County.

On February 7, Arthur Leo Quezada was arraigned on arson charges.

On Tuesday, he waived his preliminary hearing.  His bond was set at $20,000 and has not been posted yet.

Quezada was charged with arson of a home or dwelling.

According to Escanaba Public Safety, Quezada was arrested in connection to a fire at the Willow Creek Apartments, 2428 8th Avenue South, Escanaba.  Around 12:50 a.m. on February 5, a door in the complex was set on fire.  A neighbor witnessed the event, put the fire out, and contacted police.
