ISHPEMING -- It's been just a few months since nine-year-old Ishpeming resident Taylor Carlson was diagnosed with leukemia.

But area residents have stepped up to help out the family.

Monday, the Ishpeming McDonald's will hold another fund-raiser for Taylor's medical expenses.  All of the proceeds from Big Mac sales will be donated to the family.

Staff members will also put away their uniforms for the afternoon and sport "Orange for Taylor" tee shirts.

While they don't have a goal of how much money they'd like to raise, they're hoping to sell lots of hamburgers.

"We don't have a goal; we're really hoping everyone comes down, and no matter how much money we raise for her, anything helps them right now," says shift manager Melissa Weyer.

The fund-raiser will run Monday from 10:30 a.m. until closing time at 11 p.m.

Only the proceeds at the Ishpeming McDonalds will be donated.
