MARQUETTE -- Further court dates have been set for two men accused of robbing a Rapid River credit union in January.
At their arraignment in the U.S. Federal Court in Marquette on Tuesday, 21-year-old Carl Crane and 19-year-old Jacob Johnston stood mute. Therefore, the court entered not guilty pleas on their behalf.
Crane and Johnston are accused of the armed robbery of the Great Lakes First Federal Credit Union on January 19.
More than $13,500 was taken.
An initial pre-trial has been set for March 7, with a final pre-trial on March 14.
If pleas are not made by the defendants, then a jury trial will be held on March 23.
