ISHPEMING -- An Ishpeming business recently donated much-needed new uniforms to the Ishpeming High School freshmen girls' basketball team.
The freshmen girls' basketball team's uniforms had been handed down from the varsity team and have been in use for almost 20 years.
Needle and Thread of Ishpeming sized and designed the new uniforms as part of their 'Boost It' program.
Coach Ed O'Brien says the uniforms are great and the girls are very happy.
"The girls were excited about the new uniforms from Needle and Thread. The shorts we had were so big for them that they just didn't fit right," said O'Brien. "Again, Needle and Thread did a great job sizing up the girls, getting them in the right size uniforms, and they look spectacular."
