FORSYTH TOWNSHIP -- A Forsyth Township family is without a home tonight following a massive structure fire Wednesday evening.

Joel and Mary Anderson arrived at their home Wednesday night to find their basement engulfed in flames.  Forsyth Township and Skandia West Branch fire crews extinguished the fire.

No one was in the residence at the time of the fire, and no injuries have been reported.  The cause of the fire is still under investigation.  A wood stove is believed to be the origin.

Pigs 'N Heat and the American Red Cross are providing aid to the family.

The Andersons and their three-year-old child now have virtually no possessions or clothes.  A benefit dinner is currently being planned.  The family dog and cat were believed to be in the residence at the time of the fire.  The dog was able to get out and is in good condition.  Their cat is still missing.
