MARQUETTE -- The Upper Peninsula Children's Museum is holding a special day for parents with young ones that may not know about the museum.
They will hold their annual Free Day this Sunday, December 12, from noon to 5 p.m.
The event is sponsored by Charter Communications and provides a chance for kids to see what the museum has to offer.
"This is a great place for the family to play together, especially on cold days when the snow's coming down and you can get inside here and play in the airplane, play in the ambulance, play in the street, drive around with traffic lights that switch on and off, a big body to flush the kids down and what works. How wonderful they are as they grow; a great place to play indoors," said Education Coordinator Jim Edwards.
Parents can also renew or purchase a new membership during the Free Day for 10 percent off.
