MARQUETTE -- SOSY, which stands for Strong Organizations, Strong Youth, hosted a celebration for its Marquette participants Wednesday.
SOSY works to strengthen nonprofits by providing them with skills and finances to improve their operations.
Wednesday was a celebration of all they've accomplished over the last year with the help of SOSY.
"It's just a really great opportunity to kind of shine the spotlight on these organizations and celebrate what they do and take some time out to pay attention to everything they do," said organizer Ann Gonyea.
Twelve of the Marquette nonprofits set up displays at the event.
