MARQUETTE TWP. -- You could be raising money to be distributed to local non-profit organizations and not even know about it yet.

Coffee Days for United Way is taking place at Beanarella's Coffeehouse in the Westwood Mall in Marquette Township between now and Christmas.

Each Saturday, the Coffeehouse will be donating a portion of its proceeds from coffee drink sales to the United Way.

"We are a small business, so we like to do what we can to help out the community, and we hope everybody just comes on in and helps out the United Way," says owner Chris Frederickson.

Other Marquette County restaurants participating in Give Thanks Business Day for the United Way are the Northland Pub and Capers Restaurant in Marquette and the Midtown Bakery and Café in Negaunee.

Money donated to the United Way helps provide essential services for the people of Marquette County.
