ESCANABA -- The Escanaba woman who pleaded guilty to embezzling money from the Wal-Mart pharmacy was sentenced on Monday.
Janet Hoier, 38, will spend six months in jail after being charged with two counts of embezzlement of more than $200 but less than $1,000. She reports to jail Monday night.
After her release, she'll enter a 24-month probation period.
Hoier also owes more than $9,000 in restitution and more than $900 in fines, cost and fees.
