MARQUETTE -- The YMCA of Marquette County held its second annual Expo for Baby Boomers and Beyond on Monday.
The expo was held at the YMCA in Marquette from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and featured guest speakers and over 30 vendors from around the area. It also held workshops such as yoga and personal training for the 160 attendees.
The goal of the expo was to provide older residents with the means to stay healthy and active.
"I think it's just good for the community to know we haven't forgotten about you, and here at the YMCA, our senior membership has increased very much, and we're doing a lot more and so we want people to get out and not just be in their homes and come out and exercise and keep their mind and body healthy," said Jenna Zdunek of YMCA Health and Wellness.
The expo was sponsored by the YMCA, the Marquette Community Foundation, and the Alzheimer's Association.
