A new poll shows the major party candidates in a tight race to succeed Congressman Bart Stupak. The outcome could be decided by the independent candidate.
The current figures come from the Detroit Free Press poll:
Dan Benishek (R) - 42%
Gary McDowell (D) - 40%
Glenn Wilson (IND) - 8%
Undecided - 10%
The poll has a margin of sampling error of plus/minus 4.9 percent. If you're one of the 10 percent undecided, you'll have your chance to hear what the candidates have to say when TV6 airs a debate between the six candidates running for Michigan's 1st Congressional seat.
The debate will be aired on Tuesday at 7 p.m. eastern time.
