POLL - Bullying in school

L'Anse Area Schools are taking steps to prevent bullying so students can focus on what's important: learning.  The school invited Gabrielle Ford - or Gabe as she's known - to help with the cause.

Gabe suffers from a rare genetic neuromuscular disease called Friedreich's Ataxia and was the victim of relentless bullying in school.

Friday she visited students to share her message: bullying is wrong.  And she's done the same thing on NBC's The Today Show, on Animal Planet and to schools all over the country.

"A lot of kids think that you know making fun of somebody or saying something mean you know is just going to affect them for maybe that moment but it most of the time it lasts for a long time," says Gabe.

In the Daily Pulse, we're wondering Is bullying growing in severity?  Yes or no?

Vote in the poll below, then be sure to watch your FOX UP News Monday for the final results.
