POLL - Fired over racist comment

Long-time journalist and news analyst, Juan Williams, has been fired by NPR over comments he made about Muslims.

Williams, who has written at length on race and civil rights, is a regular on FOX News Channel shows.  During "The O'Reilly Factor" Wednesday night, he admitted to getting nervous around people in Muslim garb at airports.

But William's also warned against the dangers of generalizing Muslims as terrorists.

Later, representatives from NPR called Williams to tell him his contract was being terminated because the comments are not consistent with their organization.

In the Daily Pulse, we're wondering your thoughts:  Was NPR right to fire Juan Williams for his comments about Muslims?  Yes or No?

Vote in the poll below, then be sure to watch your FOX UP News Friday for the final results.
