Hiring of a vacant patrol position

ISHPEMING -- The Ishpeming City Council met Monday morning in a special session and unanimously lifted the hiring freeze so they could fill a vacant patrol position.

They also accepted a $20,000 bid so Bell Hospital could purchase four used emergency vehicles.

The council then went into a closed session to discuss confidential attorney-client communication.
