William Tull III of Negaunee held at Marquette County Jail
MARQUETTE -- The Negaunee man who allegedly led police on a vehicle pursuit and caused a two-car accident Saturday night has formally been arraigned on three charges.
William Tull III is being held in the Marquette County Jail on charges of fleeing and eluding, larceny less than $200, and driving without a valid driver's license.
According to the Michigan State Police, a vehicle pursuit started at Kassel's Midway Gas Station in Negaunee Township when the suspect did not pay for gas. Fleeing east on US-41, the suspect failed to stop at an intersection, causing a collision between a pickup truck and a passenger vehicle.
All victims of the crash were treated for minor injuries.
The suspect fled the scene of the accident, and he was later found at his Negaunee home.
Fleeing and eluding is a felony offense with a maximum punishment of five years in prison and a $1,000 fine.
Tull's preliminary examination is set for October 19 in Ishpeming District Court.
