MARQUETTE -- Friday is sentencing day for two Marquette residents convicted of trying to extort $680,000 from actor John Stamos.

Scott Sippola and Allison Coss were found guilty in federal court in July of extortion.  They claimed they had embarrassing photos of Stamos and were asking him to pay for them.

He refused, the FBI got involved, and Sippola and Koss were convicted.

Stamos won't be in Marquette for the sentencing on Friday, but has asked that his statement be read in court.
