Neighboring home has damage

MARQUETTE TOWNSHIP -- A garage in Marquette Township is reported to be a total loss.

A call came in at approximately 7:15 Tuesday morning that a garage was engulfed in flames on the 1600 block of Granite Street in Marquette Township.

According to the reporter on the scene, the fire has compromised part of the garage owner's home and melted the siding on a neighboring home.

Marquette Township Fire Department is still on the scene.
