SHELBY TOWNSHIP (AP) -- Police say two people have been killed and a third wounded in a shooting at a Macomb County mobile home park.

Shelby Township police say in a news release that officers responded to the shooting shortly after 10 p.m. Monday.  Two of the three people shot were pronounced dead at the scene.  The third person was being treated at a local hospital.

Investigators are looking into what prompted the shooting.  The names of the victims have not been released.

The shooting took place at the Shelby West mobile home park.
