HOUGHTON -- There'll be great brews on tap for the first-ever Keweenaw Brewfest this weekend.

In addition to the beer, anyone who comes to Houghton's East Waterfront Park this Saturday can enjoy live music and plenty of food.

The event includes a rib competition between the Shelden Grill, The Library Restaurant, and the Pilgrim River Steakhouse.

All of the proceeds go to the Keweenaw Community Foundation.

"We'll have almost 20 breweries represented here and 60 different beers.  You'll even be able to talk with some brew masters from Anheuser-Busch or the K.B.C.," said event sponsor, Mike Rose.

Tickets are still available.  They cost $25 in advance and $30 the day of.

The Brewfest goes from 1-5 p.m. Saturday.
