CHOCOLAY TWP. -- A Harvey teen was killed in a motorcycle accident overnight.
Eighteen-year-old Daniel Beck of Harvey was traveling northbound on US-41 when he struck a southbound minivan that pulled into his path. He was taken to Marquette General where he was later pronouned dead.
The driver of the minivan, 60-year-old Barbara Helberg of Beaver Grove, was not injured.
The accident remains under investigation by the Chocolay Township Police Department.
It is not clear yet whether or not charges will be filed against the driver of the minivan.
