Severe thunderstorms moving into the western U.P.

WESTERN U.P. (AP) -- A tornado watch has been issued for Gogebic and Iron Counties until 4 p.m. central time Wednesday afternoon.

Thunderstorms moving into the western U.P. may produce large hail, damaging winds, and heavy rainfall; highs near 76 to 87, coolest near Lake Michigan.

Tonight, showers and thunderstorms will be moving west to east throughout the night.
