RAMSAY -- UPDATE: Tuesday July 6, 2010, 6:35 p.m.

Police are continuing to search the woods around Ramsay for Steven Dianich.

According to Michigan State Police Detective Sergeant Ken Walker police are also monitoring several locations outside of the state but have found no hard evidence to suggest Dianich has left the area.

Also police are now being assisted by the U.S. Marshals.

UPDATE: Tuesday July 6, 2010, 4:36 p.m.

Police continued their man hunt Tuesday for Steven Dianich near his hometown of Ramsay, Michigan.

According to Michigan State Police Detective Sergeant Ken Walker there is no reason to believe he has left the area.

Police also believe the murders may have been motivated by jealousy.

The two victims Scott Udd and Jon Lund were partying at Udd's home early Saturday morning in Bessemer Township.

At one point Dianich's girlfriend came over to join them and then left.

Police say shortly afterwards, Dianich went to Udd's home and shot both men.

Michigan State Police said they are still actively pursuing leads and are continuing to search Ramsay for the suspect.

Dianich is a white male, 5' 10" tall, weighing 200 pounds with either gray or light brown hair.

The man hunt continues of a remote, heavily wooded area north of Ramsay for 54-year-old Steven Joseph Dianich, the man believed to be the killer of two men early Saturday morning in Bessemer Township.

According to state police Detective Sergeant Ken Walker, the man hunt was to continue Tuesday morning after a briefing of search party members.

Dianich is a white male, 5' 10" tall, and weighs 200 pounds.  He has either gray or light brown hair.

According to Walker, there is no reason to believe Dianich has left the area at this time.
