Driver of other vehicle cited for failure to yield to right of way
ISHPEMING -- A two vehicle accident happened on the corner of Greenwood and Washington Streets in Ishpeming around 9 a.m. Monday.
One vehicle failed to yield at stop sign and hit a Ford Explorer causing it to roll.
The woman driving the Explorer was conscious and responding after the accident. She needed to be extricated from the vehicle by rescuers using the jaws of life. She was taken to Bell Hospital for treatment. There's no word on her condition, and names of those involved has not been released.
Ishpeming City Police and Fire, along with Marquette County 131 and Bell Ambulance, responded to the accident.
