They found the victim at a neighbor's house
PERKINS -- The 15 year old from Perkins accused of stabbing her mother early Monday morning will make her first court appearance on July 7 in Delta County Probate Court.
According to state police, they were called out to a Baldwin Township home in Delta County around 2 a.m., Monday. They found the victim at a neighbor's house with multiple stab wounds.
The woman's 15-year-old daughter was located at the family home and arrested. She's being charged with assault with intent to murder.
The mother is still in the hospital, however, officials say she is in fair condition.
It's still unknown whether or not the teen will be charged as an adult. Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
The teen's name is not being released.
