Organizers say the kids have been excited about the sale

MARQUETTE -- If you need some odds and ends for the summer, check out the Lake Superior Village Youth and Family Center in Marquette this weekend.  They will be holding a community rummage sale.  Everything from sporting goods to clothes to toys and kitchen supplies will be available.

All sales will help send youth to YMCA resident camp.

Organizers say the kids have been excited about the sale, preparing for the event by making boxes and arranging items.

"I feel like they're really excited; they're looking at the items all the time, asking to help price.  We have some kids painting the boxes for the different items.  They painted all the signs.  They are trying to get their families in, so I'm pretty sure they're excited," said Karen, SVY & Family Center.

There will also be a raffle with the top prize a $100 Target gift card.
