Most workplaces, including bars and restaurants, will have to go smoke-free
A new major Michigan law takes effect Saturday.
Most workplaces, including bars and restaurants, will have to go smoke-free. The only exceptions are Indian casinos, the gambling floors at Detroit's three casinos, cigar bars, and tobacco specialty shops.
If you see someone smoking illegally, you'll have to contact the business owner or manager who should take care of the problem.
If that fails, you'll need to contact the health department.
