Gerald Koski will take over May 5

NEGAUNEE, MI -- Forty dollars an hour.  That's the wage Gerald Koski will be getting as Negaunee's interim city manager effective May 5.  Besides his managerial duties, Koski will continue to head up the city's electrical department.

According to Negaunee City Councilman Michael Van Straten, Koski will handle the manager's duties on an as-needed basis.

Van Straten says Koski will not be handling labor contract negotiations, but will manage the city in all other areas.

Current City Manager Gerald Peterson is resigning effective May 5 due to differences with the city council.
