Here are some of the stories we're working on for tonight's newscast.

Governor Granholm is proposing to tax services in Michigan to help erase the budget deficit.  Jeni Jewell will take a look at that proposal on the Early News.

A pastor in Iron Mountain is operating his church out of his home.  Aaron Martin will give us a look at this church, Up Close, on TV6 News Tonight.

Abnormally warm and dry weather this early in spring has raised concerns about an early fire season.  Meagan Quigley will update us on the Early News.

What's new at the cinemas?  We'll tell you on At The Movies on TV6 News Tonight.

There are reports across the U.S. that the swine flu may be back.  How about here in the U.P.?  That story on the Early News.
