Everything from hiking boots to art work are up for sale
NEGAUNEE -- If you're looking for that unique item, or just need to pick something up for the house you might find what you're looking for at the Rummage for Relief sale in Negaunee.
A group of Marquette County residents are holding the rummage sale, and the money raised will go directly to the Espwa Orphanage in Haiti.
Everything from hiking boots to art work are up for sale.
Items were donated by community members and members of the Negaunee Senior Center.
"I think it's important for the seniors to have events like this in their senior center, it's a community kind of thing and it does give them an opportunity to donate their time or items, or anything they would like. A lot of time they don't want to to send money away, overseas cause they don't know exactly where it's going," said Kristy Basolo, Senior Center Coordinator.
The sale gets underway March 24 at 1:00 p.m. and runs until 7:00 p.m. at the Senior Center.
