Negaunee Police find marijuana in trunk

NEGAUNEE -- An Iowa man has been released on a $5,000 cash bond after his arraignment Thursday on marijuana charges.

On Wednesday, Negaunee police arrested 21-year-old James Aaron Beaumont of Cedar Rapids after noticing suspected marijuana in the partially opened trunk of a car.

Police determined that Beaumont was the driver of the car.

Authorities also seized $1,400 in cash.
