UPPER PENINSULA -- State health officials say thousands of Michigan children are overdue for their second H1N1 vaccination.
Children under the age of 10 need two doses of the vaccine to combat the virus. The doses should be administered a month apart.
But 65 percent of the 308,000 children who were vaccinated haven't yet gotten their second shot. Health officials say it's not too late to get the second shot.
You should contact your local health department, your private health provider, or a pharmacy to have the shot administered.
