DETROIT (AP) -- Powerball is joining the roster of lottery games offered in Michigan.

Beginning Sunday, Powerball tickets were available at nearly 11,000 retailers statewide who already sell Mega Millions tickets.  Drawings will be held at 10:59 p.m. Wednesday and Saturday.

Each $1 Powerball ticket carries five numbers from 1 to 59, plus one Powerball number from 1 to 39.  Players may select their numbers or request computer-generated "easy pick" numbers.

Prizes range from $3 for matching only the Powerball to $200,000 for matching five numbers without the Powerball.  Matching all five numbers plus the Powerball wins a jackpot of at least $20 million, with the amount increasing when the top prize goes unclaimed.

The official Powerball site says the odds of a single ticket winning the jackpot are 1 in about 195.25 million.
