U.P. man arrested in Florida

The 22-year-old Kingsford man was taken into custody Thursday night in Broward County.

IRON MOUNTAIN -- A Kingsford man has been arrested in Florida in connection to an assault last year in Iron Mountain.

The 22-year-old-man was taken into custody Thursday night in Broward County.

Iron Mountain Police had contacted them on his possible whereabouts.

The alleged assault happened on September 2 last year on the east side of Iron Mountain.

The suspect will be lodged in Florida, pending extradition.
